Celebrate Passover

April 22 to April 30, 2024

THE FESTIVAL OF FREEDOM

The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated in the early spring and commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. Pesach is observed by avoiding leaven, and highlighted by the Seder meals that include four cups of wine, eating matzah and bitter herbs, and retelling the story of the Exodus.

Passover: Get Involved

More people than ever want to join a Seder, but many lack the resources, know how, or companionship. Many in our community are searching to be a part of something and connect with other local Jews. Chabad is helping hundreds of people celebrate Passover through community Seders, Matzah delivery, education, support and more.

We open the Seder with the invitation: Whoever is hungry, let them come and eat; whoever is in need, let them come and join the Seder.

Your sponsorship will provide a welcoming Seder for people without one and enable them to celebrate with the community. Your gift will bring Shmurah Matzah and Seder materials to hundreds of homes to enhance their Seders. Your donation ensures that every Jew can experience Passover with joy and meaning.
